Do I need to be an experienced quilter in order to use the longarm machine?

[Experience will make your first attempt easier, but my "Intro to Longarm" class will teach you all about the machines and give you time to actually use a machine.]

What is available in your studio for my use?

[My studio has room for you to bring your project and your own machine. Any of the quilting/cutting tools that I have are available for you to use while in the studio. I also have many books and magazines with quilt patterns available to you. I have label patterns, a light box, and permanent markers for you to create your own labels. The most important benefit of using my studio is that you can sew, uninterrupted, and have help available if needed.]

When is the studio available?

[The studio is available most weekdays from 8 AM until 5 PM.  Weeknight and weekend dates are only available by special advance appointment.  For all appointments, call me at 760/900-2522]

Does my quilt top need any special attention?

[All of your quilt top seams must be finished securely. When your top is put on the rollers it will be stretched as it is sewn. Loose seams will pull apart.]

I love to make quilt tops.  Will you quilt them for me?

[If you don't want to try longarm quilting and would rather not quilt your own quilt top, I will quilt it for you. I charge $20.00 per hour. The number of hours will depend on how much quilting you want. I do not charge for set up time, only actual quilting time. A simple meandering pattern would be very fast. Turn around time depends on how much available time I have on the machines. My work is always freehand, custom quilting. Call me, Annie, at 760/900-2522 to discuss the details.]

I have a started project and need help.  Can you help me?

[Yes, just call and schedule studio time.  I will work one on one with you.  I charge $10.00 per hour.]
